Here is a decent actual informative post for once.
I'm feeling good because I've been social the last couple of days so I will tell my story good and clear.

Yesterday (23.1) I woke up at 7am to the sounds of people walking on the roof, shouting and shutting doors. Feeling like absolute crapola due to a minimal night's sleep, I had no choice but to get up because ventilation people needed to get into my room and I'd also promised to take Sophie to chaddy so she could spend her christmas money on things she didn't really need.
While Soph burned out over $100 in less than an hour, I myself purchased just nail polish and some epic gold and black striped socks. It started getting too busy at 1.30pm so we shot out of there, went to KFC for lunch then came home. (it was on this walk home I managed to get sunburn in 5 minutes. Pale skin is sooo fail)
When I got home, I had to get ready to go out at 6pm but struggled to find peace with my wardrobe and arrived half an hour late. In any case, I met Yen, Praew, Rusy and Hazel near QV in the city and we headed to Chocolate Buddha for dinner which was lovely. Then we had some simple fun getting liquor from Dan Murphy's and snacks from Safeway before we went to the train station to get to Matt's house for some late night chicka-yeahhh party time shizzle.
I don't actually really remember what I did (except for reading the pokemon book which was very exciting and just lazing and chillin') but it was pretty epic fun. And no, this lack of memory does not lie in the fact that i was drunk as a skunk. I just can't actually think of anything standoutish that happened. It was just really pleasant overall.
Getting home at 8am this morning, I attempted to watch some Family Guy but kept falling asleep throughout it, so I went to bed and woke up this afternoon at 3.30pm. My uncle was here when I woke up and it was awesome because he had my christmas present with him which was Sabrina series 2. I watched 2 episodes of it after I went for a swim, then I got a phonecall from Rhi asking if I wanted to hang out. We headed to see Role Models at Jam Factory. It didn't live up to my expectations and I was fairly tired so i didn't get some of the jokes until it was too late. But it was a good evening. And now I sit here typing this shit up. ha
But that sums up what was necessary to say
so this blog ends here.

ciao. x

i'm a little tired of being the "back-up" girl.

When do I get to be somebody's first choice or favourite?

This is getting old, but I think the best thing I can do is learn to accept it.

Something dawned on me the other day. And for once in my life it wasn't something negative.
I realised that the things I've regretted the most recently I shouldn't because the thing is.. at the time, most of the things were beautifully delightful.
So I made out with a boy and held his hand and felt amazing, then realised he doesn't care for me, but it's whatever now. Because I like the memory. It's pretty and it was exciting.
I cheated on my first ever boyfriend and as bad as I felt (still feel) about it, it was probably for the best because that boy was too incredibly sweet for somebody as disastrous as myself.
I don't regret going 'hermit' for the first few months after exams ended because I think that isolation has given me time to reevaluate myself and everything I do and see.
And I don't regret wishing for better because it's contributed to my desire to behave and react to things better, therefore improving who I am.

she is talking nonsense again

I am uncertain about everything in life except for 2 things.
Number 1 is: I absolutely adore my cat to pieces and if anything happened to her, i'd be lost.
Number 2 is: I can count on my family no matter what it is I feel the need to count on them for.

I'm so confused about how my head works lately. I freak out at the thought of uber-social occasions yet I want to be out socializing at the same time. I want to get out and move on from previous things that I'm finding difficult to escape with so much thinking time but I'm afraid of being judged and awkward and misunderstood.
I'm involving myself so tragically deep in fiction that I've started living in a dream world again; brought down to reality again only by the bluntness of death. It upsets me more than anything lately. In any case, I'll never get in the state of mind that leads me to think that romance is dead. And by romance I mean not just love but all the beautifully thrilling things that movies and novels portray.
Ah. I don't even know.
I just wish I was like the character in Stranger than Fiction; my destiny being played out through the ink of somebody's typewriter.
