Wednesday
My first day off for the entire school year so far. I haven't felt this sick in quite a while.
I had a terribly sore throat yesterday but thought it'd pass reasonably quickly, but after school, I had netball and discovered that I felt so shitty afterwards that I was nearly in tears and so I went to bed at like 8pm.
I woke up at 3.30am this morning barely able to stand because a) my head was so heavy, b) I could hardly swallow thanks to my throat glands being so swollen c) my ears blocked leaving me with very little balance. When I woke up again this morning, I wasn't feeling so bad but mum booked me a doctor's appointment so I went. Basically..I have either tonsillitis or glandular fever, so they had to take a blood test and I find out which I have tomorrow.
I can't hardly deal with needles, so the blood test made me feel way faint. I saw just how much blood they took and went all light headed and had to go lie down. I felt so pathetic. hah.
Anyway. What really suck about getting sick right now? The fact that I won't be able to go to Matchbox20 tomorrow night. And I can't go to school, which although is definitely not my favourite place at the moment..I'd still much rather be healthy and learning than sick and stuck at home sleeping. I also have an English Language sac and I sure don't want to have to do that after school Wednesday. Dear oh dear. Gotta love how you get sick when you really really could do without it.
If anybody in any of my classes reads this, I'd be awfully thankful if you could tell me what goes on in each class coz otherwise I'm going to fall way behind.
