i'm broken. throw me out

Shooting star, falling star
Am i truly as hideous as the reflection that I see?
I'm tired of seeing fluctuating images as to my being.
One moment I'm cute, the next I'm a disaster of messy hair, bad skin and banshee.
The clearer the image, the less I like what I see. Shadows do me the world of good. That and myspace angles. I don't think I have any idea what I really actually look like.

recently: I have this terrible habit of zoning out when something troubles me to the extreme. That, or when I am sad or upset. I have to struggle with all my strength to get my brain to tune in to what is going on around me. I actually think it's getting worse. Tonight at dinner I started feeling sad again, and not only could I barely hear anything Vanessa was saying, my eyes stopped focusing too. It's just a little bit scary that thoughts can catch us in such a stronghold. I think when I experience things such as this, although far from the same kind-of-a-big-deal factor, i can see how people with depression get caught in darkness they can't escape.

currently: = exhausted - mentally and physically.
= loving friends you forget understand you best
= disinterested in life
= unhappy as to who and what i am these days.
