Don't You (Forget About Me) by Simple Minds was written specially for The Breakfast Club, which actually makes the song a thousand times more awesome to me than it was before. And even before I had so much love for this song it's completely overwhelming. The world has made me proud today on this fact alone. Unfortunately, feeling extra negative today, I've felt like dying over the language skills of first language English speakers, that woman in the UK who dumped a kitty in a bin and my hormonal downfalls. I've also felt like dying over the lame-factor involved in the Tell Somebody They're Beautiful Day <3. I think it is the most soppy shit I have ever seen on facebook yet. It reminds me ever so much of Valentine's Day in that people think it's necessary to hold a day for something to actually be done or said or recognised. Surely people shouldn't need reminders as to when and where it is appropriate to say what you feel. In other news though, there's a free scooter at the park near to my house. Somebody has totally ditched the poor thing in a pile of milky-glug water. In the exact same spot, my puppy found herself with a brand spanking new pair of mud socks. I guess you can't really see them as well here, but the backs of her legs were black. She's like a mothereffing deer. Such a scallywag. In conclusion, I think that films are one of the few things these days that inspire me. That and this puppy's excitement when it comes to exploring nature. Labels: babble 0 fat astronauts |
